PRESENTATION OF RESEARCH PROJECTS BY BACHELOR OF APPLIED SCIENCE (MATERIALS TECHNOLOGY) WITH HONOURS PROGRAMME STUDENTS

The research project is a compulsory subject for all students enrolled in this programme. This course is completed in the final year before beginning the industrial training course. As a result, this course provides students with the opportunity to conduct in-depth research in areas such as welding, metallurgy, composite, semiconductor, and so on. Students will begin by writing a proposal, then work in a laboratory, and finally write a research report. Students will be able to explore research and development in the field of materials technology through the research report.

This year's research project presentation was done online due to the effect of pandemic covid-19 until the government imposed a Movement Control Order (MCO) 3.0. Students were given a guideline research project presentation to help them complete the course requirements and get a good grade. Despite the fact that online learning is a difficult task for both lecturers and students, this method of teaching and learning is still used by students. This course can provide added value to students after they graduate, ultimately enhancing their ability to become great scientists once upon a time.
